Pennymoor is a long-established family-run business and we take huge pride in building and maintaining great relationships with our visitors. We think it's what makes our campsite one of the best in south Devon. But don't take our word for it. What our clients think of us
Perfect Devon Caravan and Campsite: We have just returned home after being lucky enough to extend our stay at Pennymoor. A week was not enough for this perfectly positioned site, close to fantastic beaches and with views of Dartmoor and the beautiful Devon countryside. All the staff at Pennymoor have a great mix of professionalism and friendliness that enable this site to be an absolute pleasure to stay. It’s well maintained, clean and tidy and they ensure that rules are followed giving everyone the holiday that they signed up to. The reception and shop staff were always cheerful and helpful even at their busiest, site Manager Paul is knowledgeable and accommodating. After amazing days out we returned to watch incredible sunsets and enjoy eating outside at the picnic tables provided – Monday night pizzas are an absolute treat but order early!

Gorgeous campsite: We stayed at Pennymoor for a week and really enjoyed our stay. A lot of people own their own caravans but came up to us and had a chat. I first stayed at Pennymoor when I was 11 years old and I am now very slightly older and it hasn't disappointed me after all those years. The static caravan was lovely spacious and very clean. We did not eat at the cafe but it was busy every morning. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We have visited several times. A wonderful site, well kept, clean and very friendly owners! We love the views from the static vans, across to Dartmoor. So tranquil.

Great Site! Just got back from another lovely week at Pennymoor. We were camping with a large group of adults and kids. The site is very clean and well maintained. The showers and toilets were always clean. The coffee shop is a delight and they were incredibly accommodating of my tricky dietary requirements, I especially enjoyed the gluten free pizza! The staff are lovely and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Can't wait to go back next year!

Beautiful site, good food and spectacular sunsets. Where to start. I can’t recommend this site enough. It is beautifully kept with very friendly staff and lovey grounds. Our accommodation was superb and there was good hot food available at the cafe/shop. There was even gluten free food for me! Shop prices are excellent and the cafe was good for a coffee and chat. Such a quiet site where we could relax and enjoy the evenings and spectacular sunsets. Lovely walks around the site are a good way to end the day, and there is a dog walk for our furry friends too.

Amazing Pennymoor Café: Just had another fantastic week at Pennymoor, wonderful developments to the shop/cafe. Lovely coffee .....We will be back soon. We had the best candlelit dinner (fish and chips) whilst being near our children (playing in lovely park) we have had for some time. Proper family holiday. Highly recommended. Perfecto: Was a last minute decision to travel from sheffield to pennymoor for the bank holiday weekend. After phoning and checking availability . . . Off I set at 4am from Sheffield. Arrived around 9.30 met up with Paul who was very friendly and helpful. Showed me where to pitch. The campsite is very well laid out, clean and well kept. Paul is never far away but always in the distance. I had to a hook up cable as mine was too short. . . 30 quid deposit which was returned on check out when I handed it back. Facilities are good and cleaned everyday between 11 and 1. Quiet site with even the hardened groups turning in by 11. Cafe and shop well stocked and not over priced. Fish n chips was popular but I missed out as forgot to pre-order. All in all very recommended . . . And Paul always ready for a chat . . . Retiring later in the year he will be hard to replace.

We come to Pennymoor every year! It's perfect! Immaculately clean, very friendly & they don't mind if you turn up early which is a bonus! We travel down very early from 'up north' to avoid the traffic jams. We get depressed when we have to leave!! It's so quiet & peaceful here! :-)
A lovely quiet family run site, great facilities and well located to explore the Devon countryside and beaches.

Beautiful site, customer service is second to none! Had a minor problem it was dealt with efficiently. Pitches are a good size and amenities are sparkling clean. There is a lovely on site shop and cafe which serve fabulous pizza on a Thursday night. Unfortunately we missed curry night order but it smelt divine! Will be back soon, thank you for a lovely summer holiday.

We have just returned home after spending 2 weeks at this gem of a find, so clean, well maintained and run by friendly helpful people. The site shop and cafe run by Mike and Jo is well stocked and make the best Bacon and egg sandwiches. We will definitely be back, thanks.

Best UK holiday! Recently returned home from a 1 week stay in a static caravan at Pennymoor. The site was extremely clean and well maintained with great facilities. The owners and staff were very friendly, they made sure to look after us, always available and happy to meet our needs. The caravan itself was a home from home! Beautifully kept and comfortable. Our friends stayed on the camping field in their tent. The warden was funny and cheerful while showing them to their pitch. They boasted that the facilities, including shower/toilet block and laundry, were exceptionally clean. An added bonus was the cafe and shop on site, great pricing for a holiday park as well as designated food nights offering pizzas and curries cooked on site. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful family owned park, and will definitely return. Highly recommended! Thank you Pennymoor!

Excellent Site: We just love this well- maintained, peaceful site in such a beautiful location. The showers and toilet block are immaculate, lovely play equipment for the children and new for 2018 is a well-stocked shop/cafe run by lovely couple (they do super fish and chips and breakfasts with curry and pizza nights). The site is situated in the beautiful South Hams with the well-renowned Bigbury and Bantham Beaches only a short drive and Modbury, Salcombe and Kingsbridge within the area. We enjoy the wonderful scenic Dartmoor and Dartmouth whilst staying here too. Lovely family-run site and friendly warden. Highly recommend this site for couples and families! We note a beautiful brand new Lodge available for holidays this year and lovely, clean caravans. Definitely worth a visit and so much to do within the area.

Another perfect stay at Pennymoor: We have been visiting Pennymoor for the last 10 years and like it so much we are thinking of buying a static caravan on this site. The location is perfect for visiting local attractions. We all love Bigbury-on-Sea and Salcombe in particular but over the years have travelled further afield and used this as our base to explore the wider coast and countryside.
